Dim Sum for the Anti-Anthological

Check out Joyelle McSweeney’s latest post on Delirious Hem.  It’s about the problems inherent to anthologizing.  Her argument is that anthologies are by their nature hierarchical and serve to galvanize traditions (think fossil museum, time capsule, etc.).  You could summarize her argument as: anthologies preempt dialogue. I think the essay is well done.
