Open 31

Open_neon_by_mag3737_flickrThis writing prompt begins with a photograph.  You can use the one by Travis Ruse that I have posted below, or find one on your own and print a copy.  Draw a  4×4 grid onto the photo.  A ruler is not necessary!  You will end up with 16 boxes.  Write a 16 line poem, using each square as the leaping point for each line.

  1. I just found this blog via Mariachristina. I love the combination of thought-provoking and beautiful pictures and poetry, and the idea of writing prompts for your readers. Thanks for the inspiration! I recently started a blog on writing and psychotherapy. I’m adding you to my blogroll.
