  1. Sean Penn as a poet in The Weight of Water. Not a terrible movie, and actually I usually love him. He did a great job with the script but the idea that Pulitzer Prize winning poets are lusted after by random groupies who recognize them on the street was too much. 🙂

  2. Several of my friends enjoyed it, but Hal Hartley’s Henry Fool, about a Bukowski-like figure whose work we never hear but hear about, was a frustrating little puzzle of a movie — just the kind of thing that drives me crazy, when I hold my sanity tenuously enough as it is.
