Lamina na ecno saw drow ‘yr eve.
Perhaps it speaks to a sense that words and writing are a kind of rebirth; we are creating something new when we engage in the act of writing, but we are also doing something that has been done millions of times before. The words are the current incarnation of spirits that were once animals (or humans, given that we are also animals). The words are alive; when we write, we participate in this cycle of birth, death, and rebirth. We also feel reborn when we create something of originality and beauty.
I wonder what word I will be… 🙂
